79 Inclusion, Respect, and Social Participation | Helping People Belong and Take Part Fairly

Inclusion and respect shape whether people can take part in everyday social life without being pushed aside, stereotyped, or treated as less important. People differ in background, language, ability, age, beliefs, experience, personality, and many other ways, yet difference does not need to become distance. A respectful group notices who is present, who is missing, and whether people have a fair chance to contribute.
This Submenu looks at belonging, respecting differences, recognizing exclusion, communicating across differences, everyday participation, responding to disrespect, fair participation, and maintaining connection as groups change. The focus is practical: how ordinary choices in conversations, activities, decisions, and boundaries can help people feel welcome while still allowing individuals to remain different from one another.
